Bourbon-Brie Grilled Cheese

Hellllllllllllllllo again friends, instead of harping on the fact that I haven't posted anything in forever lets just take a moment to just appreciate this sandwich. I didn't want to be ostentatious, so I somewhat undersold the sandwich in the name but I should've titled this Bourbon-Chicken and Apple, Brie Grilled Cheese. I recently discovered a bourbon chicken sausage, and I'm not lying when I say I've tried to put it on everything. Now if you're boring and bourbon chicken isn't your thing, this sandwich will also be fine without it, but we here are dlyssious not... fine

Ingredients:

- Whatever bread you prefer, I picked up fresh sourdough from one of our local bakeries
- CHICKEN BOURBON SAUSAGE BABY
- Wheel of Brie
- Honeycrisp Apples
- Yellow Onions

Directions:

1. In the era of airfryers I would like to remember a true fallen solider.. the panini press. Grease that baby up and heat to about 375 degrees.
2. While the panini press is heating up, dice and cook up your bourbon sausage and onions in a frying pan.
3. When the sausage is cooked set aside to cool before you assemble the sandwich.
4. After you have slice your apples and cut the brie into square inch cubes, take the cubes and smash them down on top of the bread (be sure to spread them out so you get a tasty little brie bite each time) and then lay your apples slices out across the brie and top with the cooked sausage.
5. Butter down each side of the bread and stick on the press for roughly 5 minutes.
6. Thank Alyssa for the life changing grilled cheese recipe ;)
